About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1912/13 (S21), Game 1: South Australia vs New South Wales

South Australia vs New South Wales
Adelaide Oval
20th-24th December 1912

Lineups:
South Australia- ER Mayne, JN Crawford, C Hill, AG Moyes, WL Chamberlain, DM Steele, GC Campbell, PD Rundell, HHM Bridgman, WJ Whitty, HJ McKay

New South Wales- VT Trumper, EL Waddy, HL Collins, RB Minnett, JC Barnes, CG McKew, GS Moore, PS Arnott, SH Emery, BJ Folkard, RJA Massie

First Innings
A positive start at the crease had South Australia looking good, but a serious lack of firepower beyond the fifth spot on the lineup had them floundering before long. This was almost entirely down to the introduction of GS Moore who took six straight wickets.

SA 341
C Hill 78; ER Mayne 69; AG Moyes 59; WL Chamberlain 50
GS Moore 6-34

Inconsistencies plagued the away side also with only a single half-century reached. The difference was a fantastic spell from JC Barnes who managed to stay alive for a long time.

SA 341
NSW 394
JC Barnes 174; EL Waddy 64
WL Chamberlain 4-83

Second Innings
While some of the batsmen improved upon their single-figure scores, only C Hill excelled at all as leg-befre shouts and simple catches dismantled them inside twenty-four hours.

SA 341 + 252
NSW 394
C Hill 84
RB Minnett 4-52; SH Emery 3-52

New South Wales found an early groove and ran it all the way to victory, looking in control the whole way.

SA 341 + 252
NSW 394 + 200-1
VT Trumper 106*; HL Collins 66*
JN Crawford 1-59

New South Wales wins by nine wickets.
