About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1912/13 (S21), Game 5: New South Wales vs Victoria

New South Wales vs Victoria
Sydney Cricket Ground
24th-25th, 27th-29th January 1913

Lineups:
New South Wales- HV Hordern, JB Lane, RJA Massie, LA Cody, CG Macartney, W Bardsley, C Kelleway, VT Trumper, EP Barbour, HL Collins, A Cotter

Victoria- EV Carroll, HHG Bracher, FA Baring, JA Seitz, WW Armstrong, J Ryder, EL Carroll, TJ Matthews, W Carkeek, HW Hart, WH Cannon

First Innings
Victoria had a lot of joy from their bowlers, including a maiden hat-trick for WW Armstrong to start his first session. But a pair of centuries later in the order save New South Wales' blushes on a batting-friendly wicket.

NSW 364
VT Trumper 118; W Bardsley 103
WW Armstrong 5-68

Victoria also had large parts of their order destroyed by very good bowling, and an unbeaten score from starter HHG Bracher forced his team to within touching distance.

NSW 364
VIC 335
HHG Bracher 175*; JA Seitz 74
RJA Massie 5-100

Second Innings
No century-making heroes this time around as the bowlers and fielders stayed on top, limiting NSW to just four more runs than the first innings.

NSW 364 + 368
VIC 335
EP Barbour 97; LA Cody 64
J Ryder 4-123; WH Cannon 3-67

Despite New South Wales scoring, what is for them, a pair of low scores, it was all too easy for them to finish the sweep on another season to take the Sheffield Shield title.

NSW 364 + 368
VIC 335 + 217
EV Carroll 42
C Kelleway 4-47; RJA Massie 3-53

New South Wales win by one-hundred-and-eighty-runs.
