About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

26th - 30th December 1896

First Innings

Victoria tallied a respectable score after winning the toss, but it is in no small part to J Worrall as CTB Turner put on a show to keep the rest of the lineup in check.

VIC 299

J Worrall 106; CE McLeod 47;
JH Stuckey 47
CTB Turner 6-61; A Coningham 3-56

New South didn't lose a beat over Christmas as they continued to show talent up and down the order with all batsmen putting up runs, including sticking on another 55 runs for the final wicket.

VIC 299
NSW 438

SE Gregory 119; TW Garrett 68; H Donnan 60
H Trumble 4-116

Second Innings

Victoria knew they had to give it their all when trailing by 139 runs, but only amassed 231 this time. Again Turner led the way in wickets as New South Wales held them at bay.

VIC 299 + 231
NSW 438

FJ Laver 54; J Harry 49
CTB Turner 4-58; WP Howell 3-64

Things could have gone bad for NSW as they went from 38 for no loss to 49-4, but there was really little doubt about the outcome.

VIC 299 + 231
NSW 438 + 93-4

ACK Mackenzie 27; SE Gregory 23*
H Trumble 3-31

New South Wales wins by six wickets.
