About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1901/02 (S10), Game 1: Victoria vs South Australia

Victoria 10/13 vs South Australia 10/8
Melbourne Cricket Ground
22nd-23rd, 25th-27th November 1901

Lineups:

South Australia- FT Hack, BT Bailey, C Hill, JC Reedman, EH Leak, A Jarvis, JGF Matthews, HP Kirkwood, J McKenzie, E Jones, JPF Travers

First Innings
After a fairly good opening partnership of 92, A Jarvis need to turn it on with a match-leading score to give South Australia a decent start.

SA 309
A Jarvis 81
FB Collins 4-64; JV Saunders 3-84

South Australia were able to continue their form with ball in hand as Victoria had all kinds of trouble establishing themselves.

SA 309
VIC 241
JH Stuckey 70; H Graham 62
E Jones 4-52; JGF Matthews 3-54

Second Innings
Victoria found more rhythm in their bowling attack to give themselves a chance of victory. But the heavily degraded pitch that aided them here would also cause trouble in their second innings.

SA 309 + 263
VIC 241
E Jones 45*
FJ Laver 3-62; JV Saunders 3-66

The top half of the order made things like simple for Victoria, but the second half could only amass a total of 40 runs as South Australia completed the collapse for victory.

SA 309 + 263
VIC 241 + 247
J Worrall 70
E Jones 4-67; HP Kirkwood 2-12

South Australia win by 84 runs
