About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Player of the Game Hockey - NHL 1967.68, March 7th

Thursday 7th March 1968
The latest Battle of California ended in a fourth straight defeat for Oakland as Hodge played his fiftieth goal in net for the Seals who scored the only goal of the first period through Ehman (18) just 2:31 in. He would later assist on Burns' (13) goal who then passed it on to Baun (5) to make the final thirteen seconds sticky for the Kings who then led 4-3. Joyal (23) had tied the game at 1-1 fifty-three seconds after the first intermission, Irvine (15) and H Hughes (6) helped make it a dominant period for Los Angeles, but the empty netter at 19:33 of regulation from Flett (25) proved to be the game winner, a third win in five for LA.

A scoreless opening period was merely a warm up for the Penguins and North Stars as they saw out a 4-4 tie after both sides scored three goals in a period. After getting on the board first through Ubriaco (9) unassisted, Pittsburgh took a 3-1 advantage into the final frame; Marcetta (4) equalising for Minnesota before Fonteyne (8) and a powerplay shot from Andrea (10), who had set up the go-ahead goal, put their team in pole position. Connelly (37) and M Hall (5) drew the Stars level again, and Ubriaco (10), who also added an assist, grabbed his second for a 4-3 Pittsburgh lead, but Parise (10), at 18:37, tied the game for good, giving Minneosta a third tie in their seven game winless streak.

The Flyers played their latest "home" game in Toronto but miss the chance on tying St Louis at the top of the West with just three wins in their last fifteen. In a tough game that saw fights between Green and Dornhoefer with the score 1-1, and Green again for the B's, this time taking on Van Impe, with his side ahead 3-2. Boston move within four points of the Canadiens and four ahead of the Leafs, both teams with matches in hand, and they took the lead when Stanfield (18) started his three point night. Rochefort (18) and JC Watson (6) turned the tables in favour of Philadelphia eith side of the first intermission, but the Bruins tied it up through Sanderson (15) then went ahead with Hodge (27) nailing a breakaway chance on another man advantage, Peters (4) brought the Flyers level once more but Bucyk (35) and Stenfield (19) again tied up the points for Boston who are on their longest winning streak since November with four victories.
