The power is back! Even with Chipper Jones done for the year, the Braves have found their big swings again. John Smoltz continues to be unbeatable right now, and the move from shortstop to third base has been an inspired move for Wilson Betemit as he shines as bright as anyone.
The only piece of bad news is a sudden rash of injuries in both Richmond and Mississippi. This leaves the Braves very short on options if anyone on the big club goes down for an extended period.
