About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1911/12 (S20), Game 4: Victoria vs New South Wales

Victoria vs New South Wales
Melbourne Cricket Ground
23rd. 26th-28th December 1911

Lineups:
Victoria- JA Seitz, HHL Kortlang, VS Ransford, DBM Smith, WW Armstrong, TJ Matthews, NE Brown, AEV Hartkopf, JH Kyle, W Carkeek, WRF Macrow

New South Wales- H Carter, SH Emery, W Bardsley, C Kelleway, VT Trumper, SE Gregory, CG Macartney, EP Barbour, A Cotter, EL Waddy, GR Hazlitt

First Innings
New South Wales' batting scores looked distinctly below par outside of a century, and a double-century. The two players managed to survive the onslaught of WW Armstrong's bowling for some time and put Victoria to the test.

NSW 534
VT Trumper 216; W Bardsley 103
WW Armstrong 7-122

The openers were quickly trudging back to the pavilion, but three of the next four batsmen complied good scores before an average tail was finished off. Victoria would hope that they could improve, and they must certainly have expected to make their opponents bat again.

NSW 534
VIC 345
VS Ransford 74; DBM Smith 73; TJ Matthews 66
A Cotter 4-70; C Kelleway 3-81

Second Innings
Things happened fast as the opening five Victorians were soon out for just 50, and it was all too much for the rest of the order as they crumbled to an innings defeat and a real set back in their title ambitions.

NSW 534
VIC 345 + 184
TJ Matthews 31
CG Macartney 5-60

New South Wales win by an innings and five runs.
