About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1910/11 (S19), Game 4: Victoria vs New South Wales

Victoria vs New South Wales
Melbourne Cricket Ground
24th, 26th-27th December 1910

Lineups:
Victoria- FJ Laver, JH Kyle, VS Ransford, DBM Smith, HHL Kortlang, JA Seitz, A Kenny, WJ Scott, TJ Matthews, W Carkeek, HW Hart

New South Wales- VT Trumper, W Bardsley, CG Macartney, EL Waddy, C Kelleway, FE McElhone, EP Barbour, HL Collins, H Carter, A Cotter, SH Emery

First Innings
After the opening partnership was broken up early on, New South Wales started to give Victoria the run around, piling up a score consistent with NSW's form this season. Victoria took some small revenge by stopping both CG Macartney and EL Waddy from completing their centuries, but they knew then they were up against it.

NSW 540
FE McElhone 128; EL Waddy 99; CG Macartney 90; A Cotter 51*
TJ Matthews 3092; JH Kyle 3-135

The reply ended all too soon for the home team with three  ducks and three single-digit scorers in their lineup. New South Wales found the pitch very much to their liking as they tore through much of the order to bring about a follow on.

NSW 540
VIC 265
JH Kyle 93; DBM Smith 70; A Kenny 50
CG Macartney 4-61; SH Emery 3-54; A Cotter 3-73

Second Innings
Victoria faced similar hardships second time around, but this time with only one half-century maker. It will the return match between these two at the SCG that will decide if New South Wales will win the title outright, or if it will go down to Quotient between them and South Australia.

NSW 540
VIC 265 + 208
VS Ransford 71
CG Macartney 4-33; A Cotter 4-73

New South Wales win by an innings and sixty-seven runs
