Switzerland's amazing last end sees them straight through to the Gold medal game, while Germany are not done yet as they will play Sweden in the Bronze medal game; the winner of which has a shot at least a silver to their name. After going unbeaten through the first seven games, we say good bye to Russia.

To determine the final round-robin places, I counted up the Last Stone First End (LFSE) for them, with the higher total taking the higher spot. In real life teams throw a stone before each match; whoever is closest to the middle gets the LSFE. The totals of these pre-match stones are added together, with the best getting the better league places.

In a three-way tiefor two spots, the top LFSE Challenge team would be thorough, and the other two would compete for the final place
