About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

First Innings

New South Wales took the decision to bowl first; hoping that the pitch would stay solid later on.

Victoria came out with lightning ferocity, not losing a wicket until they had 289 runs on the board. And each time it looked like NSW would get into them properly, Victoria found their rhythm each time through two whole days.

VIC 560-9 dec

TS Warne 146; J Worrall 141; H Trumble 67; JH Stuckey 59*
MA Noble 3-121; A McBeath 3-150

Then the unthinkable happened - New South Wales were forced to follow-on! If not for JJ Kelly, things would have been much worse.

VIC 560-9 dec
NSW 312

JJ Kelly 106
FJ Laver 5-59

Second Innings

NSW pulled their act together and looked to be favourites with a turning pitch and their impressive attack coming up.

VIC 560-9 dec
NSW 312 + 591

RA Duff 176; H Donnan 113; A McBeath 62*
FJ Laver 3-108; JV Saunders 3-133

With a tricky total of 344 to win, Victoria looked confident, then shabby, as the overs passed, but they would ultimately not be denied in a close finish.

VIC 560-9 dec + 344-7
NSW 312 + 591

FJ Laver 74*; TS Warne 68; SA McMichael 65
WP Howell 2-71

Victoria wins by 3 wickets
