About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1904/05 (S13), Game 5: New South Wales vs South Australia

New South Wales 14/14 vs South Australia 10/12
Sydney Cricket Ground
6th-7th, 9th January 1905

Lineups:
New South Wales- VT Trumper, RA Duff, MA Noble, EF Waddy, SE Gregory, AJY Hopkins, WP Howell, H Carter, GL Garnsey, A Cotter, FB Johnson

South Australia- DRA Gehrs, FT Hack, C Hill, J Darling, N Claxton, CB Jennings, JH Pellew, PM Newland, JC Reedman, JPF Travers, RF Cowen

First Innings
Was it a stunning display of bowling or a terrible effort at the crease? South Australia were crushed not long after lunch on the first day and already looked to be heading to defeat after only thirty-eight overs played. Six batsmen failed to put up a single run, while some outstanding fielding added to their woes.

SA 109
CB Jennings 30
A Cotter 4-21; AJY Hopkins 4-38

It wasn't the all-dominating performance many had expected. The wicket was good and the runs flowed, but upon reaching 326-5 things stalled a little, and it was over for New South Wales less than sixty runs later. If their bowling could replicate what it had done on the previous day, then it would still be a simple victory.

SA 109
NSW 385
AJY Hopkins 87; RA Duff 64; WP Howell 58
JPF Travers 4-117

Second Innings
A better start, but another poor mid-order performance, saw this game end before lunch on Day Three. It was nearly over inside a single session as South Australia crumbled under more expert bowling. A final wicket stand is something they could be proud of, but not much else will please them when they look back at this match.

SA 109 + 145
NSW 385
N Claxton 52
A Cotter 6-17

New South Wales wins by an innings and one-hundred and thirty-one runs
