About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Scoreboard Tennis Demo

Scoreboard Tennis from Inside Sports Games is the first of two tennis games I will be reporting on this week, with both demos successful in getting me interested enough to put them on my "must buy" list.

Scoreboard is a quick playing tennis game that can be played either in sets or games. I find the games too random as I did in Head to Head Tennis, but the sets seem just fine. For the sets version you determine who is the favourite player by comparing the provided numbers for that given surface, then throw 2d10 to determine the winner of teh set. A modified 2d6 roll then tells you what the score was for that set.

The greatest part about this game will be the season sets. Each set contains every single player that competed on the pro tour. The demo itself consists of one page of players from Peter Aarts to Angel Alonso-Campos and another sixty-eight in between. Imagine what each $9 set gives you!

For this demo I randomly picked eight men from those available and threw them together for a knockout tournament. Here they are (well done if you have heard of any of them!) with their nationality and rank for 2009.

Victor Acurcio Machado (BRA) NR
Johannes Ager (AUT) 404
Ahmed Al Bitar (EGY) NR
Rodrigo Albano (ARG) 1195
Radu Albot (MDA) 726
Jorge Alejandro Suarez-Zuleta (COL) NR
Erkin Aliyev (AZE) NR
Angel Alonso-Campos (ESP) 1246
