Adelaide Oval
10th-11th, 13th-15th January 1902
Lineups:
South Australia- FT Hack, WF Giffen, C Hill, JC Reedman, G Giffen, A Jarvis, HP Kirkwood, N Claxton, J McKenzie, E Jones, JPF Travers

First Innings
On a bowler friendly pitch, New South Wales elected to put South Australia in to bat first. It would prove a wise decision as they had the hosts all out after only seventy-one overs in the first day with little to trouble them aside from one stalwart.
SA 190
JC Reedman 68
GRC Clarke 4-22; WP Howell 3-62
Confidence was high, and so was the score, as New South Wales went to work with bat in hand. It was nearly forty-eight hours until South Australia finally finished them off, but not before they were left in a deep hole for the second innings.
SA 190
NSW 556
RA Duff 174; MA Noble 96; JJ Kelly 86; WP Howell 68
G Giffen 4-95; A Jarvis 3-120
Second Innings
A very spirited effort confounded fans and opposition alike as South Australia adopted a never say die attitude. It was only enough to put New South Wales in again for twenty innings, but South Australia can go away with some feeling of accomplishment.
SA 190 + 407
NSW 556
C Hill 138; G Giffen 50
GRC Clarke 4-76; A McBeath 3-89
It was a routine finish to the game, but another case of New South Wales not being able to finish off their opponents and win by an innings.
SA 190 + 407
NSW 556 + 42-0
FA Iredale 20*; VT Trumper 19*
New South Wales wins by ten wickets
This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
