Two fine performances surrounded by average to poor team mates gave New South Wales a solid start despite the loss of three early wickets. One of which was the unfortunate JJ Kelly who left the field through injury, but would return for the second innings, albeit in the fifth spot.
NSW 333
FA Iredale 88; BW Farquhar 81*
E Jones 3-102; JPF Travers 3-104
Two wickets in the first over, a partnership of 106, and total collapse. South Australia were brutalised by a constant barrage of NSW bowling, with VT Trumper the dominating force at the end.

C Hill 53; JC Reedman 52
VT Trumper 5-38; A McBeath 3-74
Second Innings
New South Wales suffered no early setbacks and blistered the ball around Sydney Cricket Ground for the best part of two days. HP Kirkwood was the only one of the four South Australian bowlers to find a way through, but his side had Everest to climb in order to win.
NSW 333 + 491-4 dec.
SA 217
FA Iredale 204; SE Gregory 115*; MA Noble 85
HP Kirkwood 4-89
Despite falling well short of the 608 runs needed for victory, South Australia showed good form and held out for longer than was expected.

A Jarvis 112; E Walkley 76; J McKenzie 66
WP Howell 3-112

This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
