New South Wales- RA Duff, VT Trumper, MA Noble, ACK Mckenzie, AJY Hopkins, CW Gregory, LW Pye, N Ebsworth, JJ Kelly, WP Howell, A McBeath
First Innings
Victoria had to rely on a pair of good performances to take them on to a good score, while no-one had obviously told New South Wales that the pitch was favourable to the batsmen as the visitors often looked dangerous..
VIC 366
TS Warne 109; PA McAlister 77
A McBeath 5-79; WP Howell 3-111
It was the second and third batsmen again who took control, but a terrific seventh wicket partnership put New South Wales into pole position.
VIC 366
NSW 486
MA Noble 117; LW Pye 93; N Ebsworth 91; VT Trumper 77
JV Saunders 4-110; WW Armstrong 3-106
Second Innings
It was an uphill battle all the way but Victoria did as well as they could to give themselves a fighting chance. Only three batsmen hit over 18 runs as the bowlers found their stride once more.
VIC 366 + 241
NSW 486
FJ Laver 89
MA Noble 4-58; LW Pye 3-38; A McBeath 3-72
An early wicket failed to stop New South Wales winning their second game of the season after needing just 38 overs to reach their total.
Vic 366 + 241
NSW 486 + 122-1
MA Noble 59*; RA Duff 57*
WW Armstrong 1-19
New South Wales wins by nine wickets.
This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
