About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1902/03 (S11), Game 6: South Australia vs Victoria

South Australia 9/11 vs Victoria 10/13
Adelaide Oval
27th February, 1st-3rd March 1903

Lineups:
South Australia- FT Hack, JC Reedman, C Hill, G Giffen, DRA Gehrs, N Claxton, CB Jennings, A Jarvis, HP Kirkwood, PM Newland, JPF Travers

Victoria- H Graham, PA McAlister, JH Stuckey, WW Armstrong, M Ellis, FJ Laver, EE Bean, BJ Tuckwell, JE Monfries, FB Collins, JV Saunders

First Innings
Upon inspecting the pitch and seeing tough going for batsmen throughout the match, South Australia elected to put Victoria in at the crease first. Three wickets at both the 55 and 127 run mark showed this to be a good choice, but Victoria's FB Collins doggedly held on to pass 200.

VIC 222
FB Collins 53*
G Giffen 4-63; JPF Travers 3-65

Despite losing a few players to ducks, South Australia took their good start and rolled with it. The tenth man here also reached his half-century without falling.

VIC 222
SA 317
FT Hack 81; PM Newland 57*
FB Collins 4-57; FJ Laver 3-54

Second Innings
More trouble for the away side as all confidence was drained from them by more impressive South Australian bowling. But, on a troublesome pitch, anything could happen.

VIC 222 + 183
SA 317
H Graham 63; FJ Laver 54
JPF Travers 4-51; G Giffen 3-63

The wickets just wouldn't come for Victoria and they had to live with finishing last on the year with no wins.

VIC 222 + 183
SA 317 + 89-3
JC Reedman 48*
FJ Laver 2-11

South Australia wins by seven wickets
