About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1902/03 (S11), Game 3: Victoria vs South Australia

Victoria 10/13 vs South Australia 9/11
Melbourne Cricket Ground
1st-3rd, 5th-6th January 1903

Lineups:
Victoria- H Graham, PA McAlister, WW Armstrong, JH Stuckey, D Mailer, DF Noonan, FJ Laver, TS Warne, M Ellis, FB Collins, TJ Hastings

South Australia- FT Hack, JC Reedman, C Hill, HP Kirkwood, N Claxton, DRA Gehrs, PM Newland, RW Waters, WA Hewer, E Jones, JPF Travers

First Innings
South Australia failed to get into much of a rhythm, and it was left to the 9th man before anyone reached forty runs let alone a half-century.

SA 291
WA Hewer 56*
FB Collins 4-87

It was a similar story for Victoria, but with half the order leaving the crease with six or less runs. They would be disappointed that they fell almost fifty runs behind.

SA 291
VIC 248
JH Stuckey 71
E Jones 4-63; HP Kirkwood 3-16

Second Innings
Despite four ducks and another five batsmen only reaching 32 or less, South Australia were well into pole position thanks to a pair of remarkable performances.

SA 291 + 416
VIC 248
N Claxton 152; FT Hack 145
M Ellis 3-89; 3-105

Victoria could only improve on their first innings display by a single run as they fell to their second defeat of the season thanks to more wild inconsistency.

SA 291 + 416
VIC 248 + 249
FJ Laver 59; D Mailer 51
JPF Travers 3-43; E Jones 3-60

South Australia wins by 210 runs.
