Henderson (2) scored for Detroit on the powerplay.
Rivard (1) and Dillabough (1) opened their accounts to help the Penguins to a 4-4 tie against a Boston Bruins side who have not lost in eleven games. Bucyk (8) had a goal and assist but Boston ultimately lost a point as they lead 3-1 and 4-2.

Masterson missed a penalty shot in the third period with the North Stars down 3-4, Connolly (9) scored Minnesota's first shorthanded goal and McMahon had three minor penalties along with two assists as their side goes seven without a win (0-2-5)
