The fine financial line Will Murphy was walking became clear after he failed to qualify for the final, finishing seventh in the consolation heat, as he seeks out an improved sponsorship deal despite missing just five finals all season.
Joining Darryl Lozier in the first heat of the Summer Sizzler is Indy Nationals champion Andy Bing, who is seventh in the standings, fifth place Will Thompson, and ninth place Steven Redden who took third spot at Speedway; Norm Gibson, who won the Lobster Nationals recently and has qualified for three straight finals, also makes his appearance in the event opener.
The second heat features the return of Joe Ramage from his injury as he battles with Tom Gariepy, leaving Scott Hutchins, looking to close that 23.5 point gap at the top, going in the third and final heat against eighth place Leo May, who finished runner-up at the Indy Nationals, and tenth place man Ben Hadsell who is looking to regain his early season form where he won the Frostbite Winter Nationals and finished third in Tampa.
This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.
About M.E. myself and I

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
