About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Controlled Chaos - Final Standings

Holding on at the top for back-to-back weeks and winning the Controlled Chaos title by four points Will Thompson writes his name into history. Darryl Lozier can feel that luck was against him down the stretch after he sat atop the standings for twenty consecutive weeks after Thompson led the way  for five straight.

Scott Hutchins never reached the summit but he was always in the hunt, but falling in the last hurdle, and Chris Henton's fifth place finish in Santa Claus, Indiana, propels him into fourth ahead of Joe Ramage who can proudly state that he was the best driver around for four weeks early in the season.

The only other driver to lead the pack was Ben Hadsell who won the inaugural event in Edmonton and he ends his season propping up the top ten.

In closing I have finalised the statistics and included an image of the final standings. Included are Final Appearances, Podiums, Top Five Finishes, and Pointless Final Appearances in addition to each drivers record on the year.

Controlled Chaos - Thanksgiving Derby Standings

Leading since the Big Apple Smash Up, twenty weeks ago, Darryl Lozier is finally demoted from the top spot as Will Thompson reclaims first place, qualifying for three straight finals; all of which were missed by Lozier, leaving him five points adrift.

Back-to-back absences for Scott Hutchins sees him 12.5pts behind the new leader with Joe Ramage another nineteen back after taking a podium last week, and Tom Gariepy hanging in among the top five despite one final in six events.

Thanksgiving Derby winner Jamie Eilers and runner-up Chris Henton give themselves outside chances to swoop in for the title with the final even yielding double points, but fourteen-time finalist Norm Gibson and thirteen-time finalist Ben Hadsell are out of contention with two finals in the past six events and five in fifteen respectively.

Controlled Chaos - Indiana Open Standings

After back-to-back absences and only ten points in a possible eight finals Darryl Lozier continues to cling on to the lead with two events remaining on the calender. Will Thompson's seventh place in Winslow closes the gap to just two points with Scott Hutchins remaining a few points further back after he failed to qualify for the Indiana Open final.

Co-winners in Indiana John McCrory and Lynne Higgins only move up one place each with Ed Smith rounding out the unlikely podium, moving him up four spots but keeping him closer to the bottom than anywhere.

Controlled Chaos - Halloween Derby Standings

After missing out this week due to a slight injury, making it five pointless rounds out of the last seven, Darryl Lozier's lead is now a slender six points after Will Thompson claimed his second event victory in Akron, and Scott Hutchins is just half a point back after back-to-back eighth place finishes.

Halloween Open runner-up John McCrory moves on up as does third place Jess Yates but both men remain entrenched in the middle of the standings. Tom Gariepy and Andy Bing keep hold of their top five positions with Joe Ramage (12th) and Norm Gibson (10th) making little noise; Chris Henton also misses out on making a splash by failing to qualify  for the final for the second straight time since making eight in a row.

Controlled Chaos - Fall Nationals Standings

The lead at the top is don to 9.5pts after Lozier's twelfth place finish and Hutchins' ending up in eighth. It got worse for the leader though when he was forced to withdraw from next week's Halloween open with a small injury. Winner Ben Hadsell moves up into ninth place with runner-up John Ruiz making strides much lower down the order, and after claiming fourth Tom Gariepy leapfrogs the pointless Andy Bing.

Controlled Chaos - Hickory Nationals Standings

Scott Hutchins finishing one place above Darryl Lozier means he is one point closer to the leader, and Will Thompson is back in the top three after his heat win and eighth place finish. With another runner-up spot Chris Henton continues to climb the ladder, moving up to eighth in the standings, and Danny Krol's debut win pushes him into the top fifteen.

Controlled Chaos - Bluegrass Derby Standings

Darryl Lozier's lead is becoming increasingly precarious thanks to his poor form where he has won a single event and taken just two top five finishes in the past fourteen weeks, failing to qualify for five other finals in the process. With his win in Louisville Scott Hutchins moves up from sixth to take over second place from the injured Andy Bing, while Will Thompson was the only other member of the top ten to reach the final, gaining a slight bump for his seventh place finish.

Chris Henton moves into that top ten with a runner-up place, joing the one-hundred point club in the process, and Lynne Higgins' third moves her up three spots to thirteenth.

Player of the Game Hockey - NHL 1967/68, Season Stats

After an unbeaten month 12-0-2, the one-hundred point season of the Montreal Canadiens caps off a terrific season as they head into the Stanley Cup Playoffs as favourites, going against the third placed Boston Bruins who ended their campaign with an average month of 5-5-2. The Detroit Red Wings, going 8-2-4 through March, claim second spot and have home ice advantage in their series against the Toronto Maple Leafs who limped into the postseason with a 9-10-6 record in the final two months.

Out West it's the St Louis Blues who take the top spot after bouncing back from a miserable February, and they will take on the Pittsburgh Penguins who just miss out on taking second place in the division as the Philadelphia Flyers won two more games than their Pennsylvanian rivals. That leaves the Los Angeles Kings facing the Flyers, and the Minnesota North Stars staying home after a dismal final two months of the season where they picked up just five wins in twenty-six matches.

Howe of Detroit finished top in the league on points with eighty-two; the ten goals he scored this month also earned him top goalscorer on the year.
