Victoria- ER Mayne, RL Park, FA Tarrant, JL Ellis, WM Woodfull, WH Ponsford, J Ryder, HSB Love, HSTL Hendry, AE Liddicut, PH Wallace
First Innings
A good start from South Australia's top four was not helped by the bottom five in the lineup. GW Harris and EGC Wainwright made their half-centuries in the first session, JT Murray reaching his fifty before tea. The Richardsons scored 38 (VY) and 47 (AJ), but those around them crumbled. To end, CV Grimmett (5), NA Walsh (1) and the duck of NL Williams could not prevent the side from limping past 300.
SA 314
JT Murray 65; EGC Wainwright 54; GW Harris 51
FA Tarrant 4-59; HSTL Hendry 3-101
ER Mayne was bowled out for 59 and South Australia started to find a groove when AJ Richardson got his second wicket by bowling FA Tarrant for 22 before JL Elis was run out for 29. AJ Richardson would claim the fourth wicket but not before RL Park closed in on a double-century, Victoria steaming ahead. CV Grimmett took a pair of big wickets but both WM Woodfull and WH Ponsford also reached triple figures before they were caught at gully and the keeper. A collapse of the tail saw EGC Wainwright take a few scalps and prevent Victoria hitting 600.

VIC 580
RL Park 195; WM Woodfull 106; WH Ponsford 101
EGC Wainwright 3-94; AJ Richardson 3-191
Second Innings
GW Harris was bowled out for 15 by PH Wallace but EGC Wainwright and JT Murray again reached their fifties. With VY (0) and AJ (8) Richardson falling by the wayside, it was upto CV Grimmett and NA Walsh to turn their game around and force Victoria to bat again before the tail capitulated once more.
SA 314 + 355
VIC 580
CV Grimmett 127; NA Walsh 70
HSTL Hendry 4-108; PH Wallace 3-85
South Australia were unable to take a wicket as Victoria strolled to their win.

This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
