Victoria could be happy with their decision to put South Australia into bat first as they clawed their way past the hundred mark on the last wicket.
SA 119
N Claxton 40
FB Collins 4-19; GR Hazlitt 3-38
After a very shaky start leading to of just 12-3, The Victorian batsmen got things straightened out, nearly doubling their opponents tally. After taking the four wickets, JDA O'Connor was unfortunate to pick up an injury, but would be fine for the second innings
SA 119
VIC 233
J Ainslie 80
JDA O'Connor 4-38
Second Innings
With the pitch looking to help out the bowlers, it was a sudden change in momentum that turned the match around. South Australia came out firing on all cylinders, passing two-hundred before the third wicket fell. Only a few batsmen failed to impress, but some sterling displays and partnerships had the visitors in the driving seat.
SA 119 + 481
VIC 233
CB Jennings 132; DRA Gehrs 73; N Claxton 71; ER Mayne 58
FB Collins 3-102; JV Saunders 3-124
Again Victoria had trouble at the start, and while J Ainslie was again the high-scorer, no-one could stick with him for long enough as JDA O'Connor felt no ill-effects from his earlier injury.
SA 119 + 481
VIC 233 + 218
J Ainslie 68
JDA O'Connor 4-89
South Australia win by one-hundred-and-forty-nine runs
This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
