About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1914/15 (S23) Game 4: New South Wales vs South Australia

New South Wales vs South Australia
Sydney Cricket Ground
8th-9th, 11th-12th January 1915

Lineups:
New South Wales- W Bardsley, C Kelleway, CG Macartney, TJE Andrews, JM Taylor, HG Pratten, JD Scott, AT Ratcliffe, L Best, LA Minnett, JA Randell

South Australia- ER Mayne, AG Moyes, DM Steele, PD Rundell, HB Willsmore, CE Pellew, WS Stirling, GC Campbell, AP James, WJ Whitty, AW Wright

First Innings
New South Wales lost two wickets in the first session and were looking ok at 104-2 at lunch. Things took a downturn when C Kelleway was caught behind and only TJE Andrews and JD Scott put up respectable scores.

NSW 243
C Kelleway 60; TJE Andrews 44
AP James 4-69; WJ Whitty 3-60

ER Mayne was one of a trio of scoreless players along with the bowlers WJ Whitty and AP James, but the rest of the side looked in fine form. Three players in a row passed the half-century mark, including a very unlucky PD Rundell, before WS Stirling put up his century to help the team storm into a winnable position.

NSW 243
SA 469
WS Stirling 115; PD Rundell 99; AG Moyes 74; DM Steele 53
C Kelleway 3-135; JD Scott 3-126

Second Innings
New South Wales are one defeat away from their first ever winless season in the Sheffield Shield after a crushing loss at home. The first four in the lineup were swiftly dealt with and CG Macartney left with no runs in the match after getting himself run out. A brave stand from two in the middle order only held up the inevitable for a while.

NSW 243 + 208
SA 469
HG Pratten 77; JM Taylor 62
AP James 4-66; WJ Whitty 3-70

South Australia win by an innings and eighteen runs.
