About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Controlled Chaos - Big Apple Smash Up, Heat One

Big Apple Smash Up - New York, NY
Heat One
Kenny Rose, Sam Harbin, Joe Ramage, Ed Smith, Randy Corson, Danny Krol, Darryl Lozier, Jess Yates, Scott Hucthins, Randy Tondreau, Charlie Clayton, Dick Garrett

Jess Yates was one of the more popular targets with six hits against him, all while he hounded the two Randy's Tondreau and Corson, with the former eliminated just prior to Yates' dismissal. The next four drivers were taken out in quick succession starting with Corson taking a hit on his blindside from Joe Ramage after the championship leader had laid a couple of shots on Yates.

Kenny Rose took seven knocks, three of which came from Dick Garrett, to finish his day in tenth place, and Danny Krol was ejected from the heat when he was unable to re-fire his second stall. This allowed Joe Ramage to enter the consolation heat after surviving a relentless assault by Sam Harbin who hit him four times and barely missed on another two attempts.

Ed Smith will have a second chance to reach his debut final after riding some early challenges from Tondreau and Clayton, blindsiding Darryl Lozier to start a battle between them, and becoming the next victim of Harbin.

After his ravaging of Rose, Dick Garrett went on to become the favourite target of Charlie Clayton and finish in fifth, while Sam Harbin will also have to fight through the consolation heat as an untimely miss led to him stalling and allowing free shots to Garrett and Scott Hutchins to finish him off.

Clayton makes it to a third final on the year (7th Frostbite, 10th Spring Fling) after coming out second best in his contact with Idaho Invitational winner Hutchins who finished in second place for a sixth final in his season, a fourth in a row.

That means the winner of both the Tampa and Jersey derbies, Darryl Lozier, takes his second heat victory of the year and adds a ninth final appearance  to his name. Starting out with a hit on Jess Yates, Lozier, then went on to hound Sam Harbin before returning to his original target. The second half of his heat was spent all over the back of Scott Hutchins, all the while avoiding a lot of traffic as he only received five hits against him.
