About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Controlled Chaos - Idaho Invitational Final, Part One

Idaho Invitational - Boise, ID
Final - Part One
Darryl Lozier, Darrell Andresen, Andy Bing, Will Murphy, John Ruiz, Chris Henton, Will Thompson, Steven Redden, Dick Garrett, Joe Ramage, Sam Harbin, Randy Corson, Lynne Higgins, Leo May, Rob Remaley, Tom Gariepy, Scott Hutchins, Jamie Eilers, Bobby Gallagher, Ben Hadsell

A packed field of twenty cars guaranteed a wild derby but no-one expected an exit in the opening minute. Scott Hutchins rode a few challenges before (3rd Frostbite, 5th Wisconsin) getting himself instantly disqualified for his hit on recent Spring Fling winner Chris Henton, and it would be another five minutes before the next elimination when Bobby Gallagher (8th Valentine's Day Massacre, 3rd Wisconsin) stalled out before the same fate knocked out Ides of March winner John Ruiz.

The exits came thick and fast from that point on with Henton giving out six hits while taking six in return to end his day in seventeenth, and another long stall ended Dick Garrett's (6th Ides of March, 7th Wisconsin) chance of any points.

This would be Darryl Lozier's sixth final appearance of the year, only missing out at Frostbite and Wisconsin, but it is the first time in a final he has finished outside of the top six after picking up a DQ for his second hit on Ben Hadsell. Steven Redden (6th Frostbite, T-2nd VDM, 6th Wisconsin), missed a pair of his targets, rammed Will Thompson twice, had Tom Gariepy for close company, and also received his marching orders from race officials for an unfair hit on Sam Harbin.

Next out of the event was Randy Corson who started the season well with a pair of fifth place finishes at Frostbite and Tampa before missing the next three finals, returning to claim eighth at Spring Fling. It was a head-on collision with Harbin (2nd Arzona, 11th Ides, 6th Spring Fling) that finished the job, but it also left the latter driver crippled and open for a savage attack by Gariepy.

There would be one more driver who failed to collect any points and that is one Darrell Andresen. Another competitor whose season has tailed off somewhat after a bright start where he made three top ten finishes in the opening four events: eighth in Frostbite, tenth in Arizona, and ninth at the Valentine's Day Massacre.

Ten remain including seven of the top eight in the championship standings, only Darryl Lozier failing to make the grade today. Ramage, Thompson, Gariepy, Murphy, Hadsell and May would battle it out with twelfth place Lynne Higgins, nineteenth Rob Remaley and twentieth Andy Bing.
