In the month of January the Philadelphia Flyers have won just once in ten games and their winless streak hits seven as they manage only one goal, Sutherland (16), in Toronto. The Leafs hit a five game winning run for the second time this year and won their seventh in the last eight games on the back of Bower's fifteenth victory of the season tying him for the league lead along with New York's Giacomin.
