About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Basho Bash Sumo Wrestling - Day Fifteen

Kyushu Basho November 2008 - Day Fifteen

While the biggest question on everyone's lips was about Hakuho's chance of a clean sweep, the other contests kept the crowd entertained throughout. Only one man would go home without a victory as Bushuyama lost out in a crunch match for a single win with Koryu, and debutant Wakakirin came in to defeat Tamawashi.

The quickest match came when Aran was dispatched quickly by Masatsukasa, and the longest match of the entire basho was when the "main event" was fought out. Asashoryu started strong at the Tachiai and after much time passed in a real battle of wills he edged Hakuho back to the edge. Another period of fierce stalemate was finally ended when Asashoryu won with a mighty show of strength.

Hakuho of course ends on top of the pile, but that win gives Asasoryu second place to himself.
