About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Head to Head Demo - WTA 2008 Ladies

I recently downloaded and played the demo of a new tennis game: Head to Head. Each individual player card has ratings for serve and return for each court surface, along with ratings for stealing serve, aces, and tie-breaks, the latter two of which are unused in the demo version. The demo and players are available at TableTop Sports

3d10s are rolled for each game with the first compared with the servers serve ratings, and the third for the returners steal rating. If the server rolls too high, then it's a break of serve. If the third die is within range and a second 2d10 roll is within the stealing range that is also a break of serve. In my mini-tournament using the top sixteen ladies of 2008 there were a lot of breaks of serve, much higher than real life. So, my results will just give you the final set scores rather than how they came about.

Finally, here are the ladies and the draw for the opening round on this hard court tournament.

(1) Jelena Jankovic (SER) vs (16) Alize Cornet (FRA)
(2) Serena Williams (USA) vs (15) Victoria Azarenka (SER)
(3) Dinara Safina (RUS) vs (14) Patty Schnyder (SWI)
(4) Elena Dementieva (RUS) vs (13) Flavia Pennetta (ITA)
(5) Ana Ivanovic (SER) vs (12) Caroline Wozniacki (DEN)
(6) Venus Williams (USA) vs (11) Nadia Petrova (RUS)
(7) Vera Zvonareva (RUS) vs (10) Agnieska Radwanska (POL)
(8) Svetlana Kutznetsova (RUS) vs (9) Maria Sharapova (RUS)
