Ten Days in Atlanta - Games 41-50 (20-30)
The media, the fans, maybe now even the players, are all over the manager and the next week could be his last in charge of the Braves as Atlanta has a serious problem with Cox sucking. No amount of shouting and screaming from Bobby could make up for some rather questionable lineup decisions recently.
Mental mistakes were not limited to the dugout as simple defensive plays were botched and the baserunning was almost comical in it's absurdity. The one bright point though is a return to form for the bullpen who defended what leads they had almost perfectly, but John Smoltz will miss his next start in Washington.
The media frenzy in Atlanta is reporting that Bobby Cox needs to win seven of the next ten games if he is to keep his job. I guess with the conclusion of the series against the Nationals, followed by a set in Pittsburgh, he can't ask for a better chance.

This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
