About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1909/10 (S18), Game 3: Victoria vs New South Wales

Victoira vs New South Wales
Melbourne Cricket Ground
27th-29th December 1909

Lineups:
Victoria- WI Sewart, W Carkeek, EV Carroll, VS Ransford, WW Armstrong, DBM Smith, PA McAlister, GR Hazlitt, FJ Laver, JH Kyle, JV Saunders

New South Wales- EL Waddy, W Barsley, EF Waddy, A Diamond, JC Barnes, HL Collins, RB Minnett, SH Emery, WJ Stack, LA Minnett, CR Gorry

First Innings
It was a tough post-Christmas match for the batsmen, but Victoria certainly struggled the most. They limped over the hundred mark and lost lost out at the crease; losing the last wicket midway through the second session.

VIC 128
W Carkeek 31
LA Minnett 4-34; SH Emery 3-31

Things were better for New South Wales, but not by a lot, thanks in part to the bowling of JV Saunders and co. The match remained up for grabs going into the second innings.

VIC 128
NSW 218
WJ Stack 40
JV Saunders 5-34

Second Innings
Victoria saw improvement, but they have to do even better with ball in hand if they were to pull a victory out of this performance. There were three more ducks to go with the three from the first innings , with JH Kyle the unfortunate victim of a pair.

VIC 128 + 182
NSW 218
WI Sewart 48
WJ Stack 5-31

Finally a pairing stayed alive to put together a partnership, and this match was over by lunch on just the third day.

VIC 128 + 182
NSW 218 + 93-0
WL Waddy 49*; W Bardsley 43*

New South Wales win by ten wickets.
