Ten Days in Atlanta - Games 1-10 (5-5)
This will be my personal account of how Atlanta does this coming season. I will be taking a look at their season and delivering them to you ten games at a time. I am hopeful this is a good sample size to get a good size window for the bigger picture while keeping focus on the details.
The new season is here and the Braves outscore their opponents 59-39, but it all ends in a 5-5 record through the first ten games. There is also a mixed bag in terms of other news. The bad news is that the farm system is suffering from a sudden rash of injures, several of which could have long-lasting effects. Here's hoping the no-one's career is over before it has begun!
On the brighter side, Chipper Jones has started the season well, pulling along a lot of the younger players with him with his inspiring plays with bat and glove.Tim Hudson and John Thomson have looked outstanding already, and Danny Kolb has been almost lights out when he is asked to come out of the bullpen. If the pitching can stay at this level we won't need to call any survivours from the minor leagues.
Finally, reports out of the dressing room are that morale is high after coming back to gain some victories, most notably in extra-innings down in Florida. So, a good week despite the .500 record and things look very promising going forward!

This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
