About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1909/10 (S18), Game 6: New South Wales vs Victoria

New South Wales vs South Australia
Sydney Cricket Ground
26th-29th January 1910

Lineups:
New South Wales- W Bardsley, EL Waddy, CE Simpson, C Kelleway, SE Gregory, FK Gow, RV Minnett, SH Emery, WJ Stack, JD Scott, CR Gorry

Victoria- TS Warne, FT Delves, DBM Smith, J Ainslie, WW Armstrong, WJ Scott, HHL Kortlang, A Kenny, TJ Matthews, W Carkeek, JV Saunders

First Innings
Victoria really struggled through the second session as they started after lunch on 97-2, but ended up 174-9. It was just all too easy for New South Wales to deal with most of the order for minimal runs.

VIC 186
FT Delves 59
JD SCott 4-39

Somehow, despite the pitch almost made for batting on, NSW also had problems keeping themselves at the crease. The lower end of the order was pitiful, but they also had a half-century man pulling them the rest of the way.

VIC 186
NSW 183
SE Gregory 55*
WJ Scott 4-31; A Kenny 4-32

Second Innings
Victoria did better this around, but DBM Smith's second duck coupled with a collapsing tail highlighted the weaknesses down the order. The field had to be alert as seventeen of Victoria's wickets were catches, with four of them the more spectacular variety.

VIC 186 + 248
NSW 183
J Ainslie 71; HHL Kortlang 68
JD Scott 5-58; C Kelleway 4-42

After an opening partnership of 158, New South Wales were in cruise control as the batting-friendly pitch finally came to someone's aid for the win.

VIC 186 + 248
NSW 183 + 252-3
EL Waddy 128*; W Bardsley 76
HHL Kortlang 1-14

New South Wales win by seven wickets.
