New South Wales vs South Australia
Sydney Cricket Ground
8th,10th-12th January 1910
Lineups:
New South Wales- EL Waddy, W Bardsley, JC Barnes, A Diamond, RV Minnett, C Kelleway, AJY Hopkins, SH Emery, WJ Stack, CR Gorry, LA Minnett
South Australia- ER Mayne, EH Leak, JN Crawford, S Hill, AH Woolcock, KH Quist, PC Desmazeures, JDA O'Connor, GC Campbell, WJ WHitty, AW Wright
First Innings
South Australia spent the first two days battering their opponents around on an ever so slightly bowling-friendly pitch. New South Wales had few breakthroughs, taking JN Crawford for a duck and ER Mayne early on for 17, after that the lowest score was 22* from the eleventh man AW Wright. The bowlers took a couple of mild victories when they stopped both GC Campbell and WJ Whitty a run short of their half-centuries.
SA 585
KH Quist 100; PC Desmazeures 93; JDA O'Connor 86; EH Leak 73
C Kelleway 3-142; SH Emery 3-160
The pitch degraded through the next two days and South Australia took full advantage, striking down their opponents less than halfway to their own score. A good partnership had NSW looking sharp, but no-one could really stay alive long enough to replicate. New South Wales were staring down the barrel.
SA 585
NSW 242
W Bardsley 65; JC Barnes 59
JN Crawford 4-46
Second Innings
It was a similar story second time around, with only one man standing tall as everyone was destroyed around him. Each South Australian bowler finished with at least four wickets, at least two in each innings, completing a very balanced, and very successful, attack.
SA 585
NSW 242 + 189
A Diamond 100*
JN Crawford 3-23; WJ Whitty 3-70
South Australia win by one-hundred-and-fifty-four runs
This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
