About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1921/22 (S25) Game 6: South Australia vs Victoria

South Australia vs Victoria
Adelaide Oval
24th-25th, 27th28th February 1922
Lineups-
South Australia- A Smith, AJ Richardson, EA Loveridge, PD Rundell, JT Murray, RJB Townsend, DE Pritchard, JW Rymill, JWE Schultz, WJ Whitty, FL Morton

Victoria- ER Mayne, FA O'Keeffe, CB Willis, AEV Hartkopf, VS Ransford, LA Cody, JL Keating, WM Woodfull, JL Ellis, PH Wallace, MA Schade

First Innings
Victoria started their celebrations of a fifth Sheffield Shield title by bowling out South Australia midway through the final session on day one. DE Pritchard and JWE Schultz just let loose when their partnership began with the team on 93-7, but once the ninth man skied one looking for six, it was business as usual.

SA 177
DE Pritchard 48; EA Loveridge 43
MA Schade 4-34; AEV Hartkopf 3-29

Victoria surpassed their opponents tally with only wicket lost but were unable to put a true stranglehold on the match, thanks in most part to FL Morton ripping through the middle of the lineup in short order. The opening partnership of 138 was Victoria's highlight, but they could only follow that up with a high score of 46 from VS Ransford.

SA 177
VIC 341
FA O'Keeffe 109; ER Mayne 67
FL Morton 5-90; RJB Townsend 2-60

Second Innings
PD Rundell and DE Pritchard saved South Australia from all out embarrassment as, outside of these two, RJB Townsend led the rest with 34 runs; one of only five SA batsmen to reach double figures.

SA 177 + 277
VIC 341
DE Pritchard 92; PD Rundell 74
AEV Hartkopf 3-62; PH Wallace 3-68

Victoria could afford to be a little nonchalant on the degraded pitch, losing four wickets on their way to a clean sweep on the year. EA Loveridge, along with the spectacular fielder in the slips, was responsible for claiming the scalp of the half-century maker, along with two other wickets back to back.

SA 177 + 277
VIC 341 + 114-4
CB Willis 52; ER Mayne 32
EA Loveridge 3-22; FL Morton 1-35

Victoria win by six wickets.
