About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1921/22 (S25) Game 4: New South Wales vs South Australia

New South Wales vs South Australia
Sydney Cricket Ground
6th-7th, 9th-12th January 1922

Lineups:
New South Wales- H Cranney, ATE Punch, TJE Andrews, HSTL Hendry, JG Morgan, AP Wells, JD Scott, JCLS Wall, WF Ives, HM Savage, AA Mailey

South Australia- VY Richardson, A Smith, LV Pellew, AJ Richardson, RJB Townsend, PD Rundell, EA Loveridge, DE Pritchard, HL Williams, WJ Whitty, AM Ambler

First Innings
A series of tough outs without anyone truly excelling left New South Wales as the ones chasing a high score for once. Until AM Ambler (7) fell for the final wicket, the lowest contribution was 15 from AJ Richardson; five other batsmen made half-centuries. HSTL Hendry was the biggest threat that South Australia faced, but the attack should have done better on their bowling pitch.

SA 496
PD Rundell 83; RJB Townsend 69; VY Richardson 62; A Smith 58; NL Williams 57*
HSTL Hendry 5-111; AA Mailey 2-103

The home reply started well, losing wickets at similar points to their opponents, until AP Wells (4) and JD Scott (0) were dispatched. Another pair of low scores came at the end of the innings, but JCLS Wall saved the day with his heroics.

SA 496
NSW 324
H Cranney 87; JCLS Wall 73
RJB Townsend 3-57; AJ Richardson 3-73

Second Innings
New South Wales had better luck with early wickets second time around, but A Smith, and a final wicket partnership, proved to be of great help to SA as they left the hosts with a big mountain to climb. HSTL Hendry was again the leading wicket taker, but fell one short of a ten wicket haul.

SA 496 + 348
NSW 324
A Smith 110; WJ Whitty 50
HSTL Hendry 4-72; JCLS Wall 3-114

The final innings had a sloppy start with H Cranney, TJE Andrews and HSTL Hendry all combining for 27 runs before exiting the field at the hands of AJ Richardson; Hendry going for a duck. JG Morgan and AP Wells did all they could to salvage the match, but once they were dispatched, bowled by WJ Whitty and RJB Townsend, the tail crumbled.

SA 496 + 348
NSW 324 + 389
AP Wells 113; JG Morgan 110; ATE Punch 61
AJ Richardson 4-90; WJ Whitty 3-123

South Australia win by one-hundred-and-thirty-one runs.
