Tim Wilkerson, who has qualified in the top two for the past three events, once again sets the pace but the top six drivers are all within a tenth of a second of each other. Robert Hight and Del Worsham are separated by twenty points in the standings in Worsham's favour, and are together here in second and third. Jack Beckman has just one qualification in the past five events is fourth, just ahead of Ashley Force-Hood who has missed out just once.
Bob Gilbertson is currently the fastest among the title challengers in tenth place, with championship leader Tony Pedregon in twelfth and Bob Tasca III fifteenth.
