Latest event winner Del Worsham remains on a high going into the twentieth race meeting of the season, leading second place Bob Tasca III by well over a tenth of a second; the title challenger looking to make amends for his easy first round dismissal at the hands of championship leader Tony Pedregon who is tenth fastest.
Bob Bode, qualified in three of the last five events, is third ahead of John Force and the almost perfect Mike Neff who only failed to qualify in the very first round of the year. Bob Gilbertson gives himself work to do in nineteenth.
