About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1903/04 (S12), Game 3: South Australia vs New South Wales

South Australia 10/9 vs New South Wales 18/13
Adelaide Oval
19th, 21st-24th December 1903

Lineups:
South Australia- FT Hack, DRA Gehrs, JPF Travers, C Hill, CB Jennings, G Giffen, N Claxton, JC Reedman, PM Newland, RBC Rees, H Hay

New South Wales- CW Gregory, BW Farquhar, JRM Mackay, VT Trumper, MA Noble, AJY Hopkins, SE Gregory, JJ Kelly, WP Howell, A McBeath, FB Johnson

First Innings
New South Wales again put their opponents in the field first and took full control with some electric batting. Things were not looking too bad for South Australia at 215-5, but a partnership that breaks a long standing sixth wicket record leaves NSW soaring ahead.

NSW 577-6 dec.
AJY Hopkins 223*; SE Gregory 145; CW Gregory 59
RBC Rees 3-121

South Australia replied well with their never say die attitude they found in the last match, and would have just avoided the follow on under modern day rules, but were well short of coming within the one-hundred-and-twenty run gap needed to bowl again.

NSW 577-6 dec.
SA 378
JPF Travers 111; CB Jennings 73; N Claxton 51
WP Howell 3-86

Second Innings
The steam ran out of the hosts and couldn't manage to give New South Wales a bigger total to aim for, thus ending the season (yep, only one meeting between South Australia and Victoria again this year) winless for the first time in three seasons.

NSW 577-6 dec.
SA 378 + 293
DRA Gehrs 98; C Hill 50
A McBeath 5-55

Just the one wicket claimed here as New South Wales cruised to victory.

NSW 577-6 dec. + 95-1
SA 378 + 293
BW Farquhar 53*
JPF Travers 1-34

New South Wales win by nine wickets
