Ozutsu wins his fourth contest in the last five days giving Takanosato his first loss of the fortnight, and Tochiakagi won in an exciting battle against the still winless Amanoyama. Kirinji kept in touch with the leaders but it was a surprise that his opponent of the day Arase put in such a spirited effort, and Dewanohana has lost a third straight after stating out 9-0.
