About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

GridIron Wars NFL 2009 AFC Playoff Picture

In the AFC there were tiebreakers galore! The Indianapolis Colts lost out on the #1 overall seed to the New England Patriots after losing the Week 10 matchup between the sides at Lucas Oil Stadium 37-27. Both sides get a bye. After the Wildcard games have been played out then the Patriots will play the lowest seed in the Division round, and the Colts will meet the other winning team.

The second tiebreak to be decided was in the AFC West. After Denver's 27-6 victory over the Chiefs on the final day, coupled with San Diego's back to back defeats to end the season against the Titans 23-16 and the  Redskins in OT 26-23, the Broncos beat out their division rivals 2-0 in head to head meetings: 16-10 in Week 6 at Qualcomm Stadium, and 31-10 at Mile High during Week 11.

Denver then had the #3 seed wrapped up after they just held on to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-28 back in Week 9.

The final tiebreak was between the two wildcard teams: San Diego and Houston. The teams did not meet during the regular season so it went to the Win/Loss/Tie records in the conference. The Texans ended with an 8-4 record in the AFC, but the Chargers edged it 9-3.
