First Innings
New South Wales got away to a rip-roaring start, losing their first two wickets at the 196 and 401 run mark. W Bardsley (95), TJE Andrews (77), and JM Taylor (52), all provided excellent support for the big scorers. AF Kippax was the only man to fall cheaply, going for just 6, but the game looked won at tea on the second day.
NSW 703-6 dec.
CG Macartney 251; HL Collins 183
CD Gray 2-55; AJ Richardson 2-177
South Australia provided a consistent response but still fell well short of avoiding the follow on. Until the tail and it's total collapse, AJ Richardson had scored the least at 13 runs as his team fought against the tide.
NSW 703-6 dec.
SA 409
DE Pritchard 84; LV pellew 67; VY Richardson 61; RJB Townsend 50
CS Everett 4-62; AA Mailey 2-128
Second Innings
It was more of the same from the hosts with no-one managing to reach that elusive century; an unlucky CD Gray the closest to that milestone.
NSW 703-6 dec.
SA 409 + 446
CD Gray 97*; RJB Townsend 84; CE Dolling 75; VY Richardson 63
CG Macartney 3-35; HSTL Hendry 3-100
NSW continued to show electric form at the top of the order to close the game out.
NSW 703-6 dec. + 153-1
SA 409 + 446
HL Collins 70*; W Bardsley 57
FL Morton 1-40; AJ Richardson 0-34
New South Wales win by nine wickets.
This blog is to share results in my sports replay gaming. All of the games involve pencil, paper, cards and dice; no digital gaming here. Most games are full season replays, but there will also be some fictional competitions thrown in. It's been a while, but I hope that 2017 sees a return of blog activity.
About M.E. myself and I

- I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris
