About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

First Innings
After winning the coin toss on a beautiful sunny day, South Australia out in the home side to bat hoping they could take early advantage of the poor conditions of the pitch. It proved to be a good decision as Victoria were in trouble at 103-5 in the second session of day one. WH Ponsford (15) and WM Woodfull (8) were quickly dealt with leaving ER Mayne (48) to survive up to that fateful score; CB Willis and J Ryder quickly joining him back in the pavilion for ducks. HSB Love carried on his efforts but his performance was overshadowed by RL Park's century. AE Liddicut (33) held on valiantly and that was enough to see his side pass 300.

VIC 317
RL Park 118; HSB Love 77
AJ Richardson 4-60; NL Williams 2-61

The Richardson connection was in action almost immediately after the quick hands at short leg took care of EL Bowley for naught. AJ Richardson fell short of a half-century but VY went all the way into triple figures. A series of scores ranging from 60 to 87 kept the Victorian bowlers frustrated, although AEV Hartkopf was responsible for the dismissals of three of those batsmen along with the lbw of VY Richardson.

VIC 317
SA 490
VY Richardson 102; JW Rymill 87
AEV Hartkopf 4-119; J Ryder 2-81

Second Innings
The opening partnership almost doubled-up on their first innings effort but WM Woodfull was caught at slip straight away for a duck. HSB Love (18) was stumped and only CB Willis put in a halfway respectable score; the final six batsmen totaling 41 runs against a well rounded attack.

VIC 317 + 196
SA 490
CB Willis 61; WH Ponsford 41
HM Fisher 3-38; NL Williams 3-40

With this victory all teams now have a win and a loss in a very competitive season. The only wicket left to fall was EL Bowley going leg before wicket for just 5, leaving the Richardson boys to finish off.

VIC 317 + 196
SA 490 + 24-1
AJ Richardson 13*; VY Richardson 6*
AE Liddicut 1-12; AEV Hartkopf 0-12

South Australia win by nine wickets.
