About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Boston pick up their first point in five games ending the Blackhawks' win streak at three but their unbeaten run is now at eight games. A scoreless first period was not without chances for both sides with numerous powerplays going both ways but both goaltenders were resolute with Glenn Hall facing half of the total Bruins shots in the game in the opening twenty minutes.

After the intermission neither goalie was able to stop much of anything as Chicago led 3-1 after the four goals were scored in a 3:25 span. More excellent penalty killing on both sides, and Bob Perreault stopping nineteen shots in the period, led to them going into the third period at 3-2 Blackhawks.

Another early Chicago goal was cancelled out after Leo Boivin scored his third powerplay goal of the season and Jean-Guy Gendron tying the game 1:38 later. The Bruins had an unlikely lead with less than three minutes to go, John Bucyk scoring on the man advantage, but that lead was short lived with Bobby Hull continuing his good run down the stretch thirty-eight seconds later.

A cross-checking double minor to Albert Langlois in the third period turned the game from a 3-2 Rangers' lead to a 4-3 Detroit win putting the Red Wings back in control of the final playoff spot as the top two powerplay teams did their thing. Andy Hebenton scored two of his sides three goals on the man advantage given the Rangers the lead early in the first and tying it at 2-2 late in the second.

Ted Hampson, who now fills in regularly for the departed Dean Prentice, scored his third goal of the year but Parker MacDonald scored his second of the game to tie the game, and Alex Delvecchio set up his third of the night for Howie Young to put home the game winner.
