Takamiyama pulled out of the tournament with an undisclosed injury after his defeat to Kirinji but hopes to return for the final basho of the year, the Kyushu. Elsewhere, Fujizakura is receiving a lot of negative press for his recent performances and may not be considered the favourite in many matches for the rest of the Aki.
